Average gas prices–August 31, 2009

Gasoline prices are slightly down compared to the week before with the coasts seeing a minor uptick, though diesel fuel is up in many regions. The national gasoline average is now about a $1.07 below the price this time last year. Diesel fuel is $1.45 below this time last year.
